Trinity Mid-Whitgiftian fielded a young side, including several talented school boys, against an experienced Epsom side.
The match was characterised by pace and endeavour from Trinity against a solid defence by Epsom. In a well contested match Epsom scored the only goal - a series of deflections that eventually ended with the ball in the back of the net.
However a fairer reflection of the game would be the short corner count with Trinity in double figures vs Epsom having three.
The team kept pushing for the equaliser and were very unlucky not to earn a point.
